This activity is an excellent addition to your Civil War studies.

Description

It will introduce your students to 19 notable contributors including author Harriet Beecher Stowe, the all black 54th Regiment, photographer Matthew Brady, and many more. Each small group has a list of names and descriptions and a clue to begin their journey. They then search for a picture that has the matching phrase they are seeking. Once found, they will lift the picture to read the next description and continue the hunt until all 19 clues are matched. This activity comes with five different matching routes, 19 clue cards, answer keys for each route, and full instructions for running this 40 min activity.
