Land of the Free (LOFT) is NOT a class that teaches students how to be farmers or gardeners. LOTF focuses on principles that support freedom through learning the characteristics of a farmer and applying those principles to one’s life. The principles of relying on God, being money-wise, being innovative and resourceful, managing your time, working with your strengths, and paying attention to details are all characteristics of a farmer. These principles are taught through at-home projects, simulations, book discussions, and class discussions that are all part of the LOTF class.
This class is designed for students ages 12+. However, modifications are available for students ages 9-12. Class time is split between book discussions, hands-on projects, student presentations, and more.
Teachers will need access to various gardening supplies, YouTube, and
transportation for field trips.
Each purchase is for one teacher only. All teachers will need to purchase their own copy.

I absolutely LOVE this project! This is one of the most important scholar or pre-scholar (you can do different levels with this project & this mentor manual!) project out there. The fundamental principles & learning experiences this project helps makes accessible and personally applicable through hands on, experiential learning, is absolutely vital to our youth & every single one of us.
