Stories From the Stage Student Binder

Description

Students will study several performing arts works on their own at home and then deepen their understanding and engagement with these works in a weekly 2-hour class. Drama warms ups, guided discussions, class activities, presentations, and more will be done as a class. At the end of the year, the class will perform a Shakespeare play.

The student binder contains everything students need to participate in this class.

This is an ideal first class for a middle school student, who is just beginning formal academic classes. Students will be invited to read, watch, and listen to a variety of performing arts works, complete writing assignments, memorize a soliloquy, give presentations in class and participate in the class’s Shakespeare production at the end of the year.
