Overwhelmed at the thought of teaching high school physics? You’re not alone — and you don’t need to be. TNT High School Physics is designed to be teachable, and this training is designed to prove it.

Join curriculum author Jennifer Jarrett for a 4-hour virtual training plus a 2-hour working lunch. Jennifer built this curriculum for co-op environments and has taught it herself. She knows exactly where mentors get stuck — and how to get unstuck fast.

What the Training Covers

  • How to navigate the mentor binder and use it alongside the student binder
  • Lab setup: what to gather, what to prep, and what to expect
  • Pacing the course for a weekly co-op schedule

Do I need to own the curriculum before taking this training? Yes. This training is designed for mentors who have purchased the TNT High School Physics mentor binder or co-op license. If you haven’t purchased yet, start with the full course or co-op license listing.

What does the training cover? It’s a 4-hour live session with curriculum author Jennifer Jarrett covering lab prep, binder navigation, pacing, class structure, and Q&A. By the end, you’ll know exactly how to teach this course.

Is this training required? Strongly recommended. TNT Physics is a hands-on, lab-based course with a specific structure. Mentor training makes sure you’re prepared to teach it confidently from day one — and that you and your students have fun doing it.

How often do I need to purchase training? Mentor training is an annual purchase. Each year you teach the course, you’ll renew training to stay current.

    The training was VERY helpful. She walked me through the binder and advised me on putting together an actual lesson so I could better understand how to help the youth as they take this class. Having taught this herself, her insights and suggestions were extremely valuable. I’m so glad I participated in the training and am excited to teach this year!
