Description
This curriculum introduces students ages 8–12 to theater through classic fairy tales and a short, engaging stage production. In the first half of the course, students explore seven fairy tales through stories, skits, crafts, coloring, and hands-on building activities. In the second half, students rehearse and perform The Woeful Tale of Prince Charming, taking part in drama games, rehearsals, and creating simple props and costumes. Designed to be developmentally appropriate and manageable in scope, this class builds confidence, encourages creativity, and offers students a joyful and memorable introduction to theater.
