Leadership Education Academy for Families (LEAF) is founded on the belief that each person has something unique and important to share with the world. Our Scholar classes are written by mentor-creators with the intent to help each student know they will influence the world. 

Mentors use the Book of Centuries in their classrooms, Scholars use them as they make new discoveries, and families use them in their homes. Individuals make connections across disciplines and time and see that history is all around them. These books become treasured records, meant to last forever!

Based on Charlotte Mason’s Book of Centuries, our unique grid design spans >13,000 BCE – 2050 CE in 100 pages, and helps students make connections across 5 main categories: 

1. Wars, Conflicts, Politics

2. Notable Women & Men

3. Discoveries, Inventions, Technology

4. Religion & Philosophy

5. Music, Art, Literature

Our co-op gives each incoming Scholar their own Book of Centuries at our beginning-of-year Scholar kickoff event, and they fill them out through their scholar years and beyond. They display them at semi-annual Scholar Nights and share connections they’ve made in their weekly classes.
