Debt of Honor — Mentor Manual

Debt of Honor, is scholar class that allows mentors and students, ages 12 – 18, to study
WWI and WWII through both broad and narrow lenses and to learn from the heroes who
helped bring those wars to a close. This class is based on Thomas Jefferson Education principles of learning such as studying classic books, mentoring, and student-propelled learning. It has been
designed to be a bridge between practice scholar-level and apprentice scholar-level
classes and offers more award requirements to help scholars grow their learning capacity
and prepare for apprentice scholar-level classes. More rigor can easily be added to adjust the class for advanced students, as well.
